Bitdeer Secures $4.7B 16-Year AI Data Center Lease in Norway

Woofun AI reports that Bitdeer’s subsidiary, Tydal Data Center AS, has entered into a 16-year hosting and services agreement with Volta Tydal AS. The contract covers the deployment of 121 MW of IT load capacity, totaling approximately 133 MW of power, at the Tydal AI/HPC campus in Norway. The facility will utilize NVIDIA GPUs to support a leading AI laboratory. Base term payments are estimated at $4.7 billion, with an optional 8-year renewal that could raise the total contract value to approximately $8 billion.
