The hacker then bridged the funds into Ethereum (ETH) and has since been moving the assets into the privacy-focused cryptocurrency Zcash, a common tactic used by malicious actors to obscure the trail of stolen funds.
Woofun AI data shows that following the disclosure, the price of the B2 token experienced a sharp decline, reflecting market concern over the security of the network. As of press time, the BSquared Network team has not released an official statement confirming the exploit or outlining a recovery plan.
