The statistical breakdown focuses on assets achieving significant scale, specifically those surpassing a $100 million market capitalization. Among the 113 tokens launched from 2024 to 2026 that met this threshold, only eight—representing 7.1%—managed to trade above their token generation event (TGE) price.

Woofun AI data shows the median return across all studied tokens stands at a stark -95.7%, indicating that most projects have erased nearly all initial value.

A select few assets defied this downward trajectory, driven by specific sector dynamics. HYPE emerged as the dominant outperformer with a gain of approximately 1,519%, followed by ONDO at 101.4%. Other relative successes included EVA and NIGHT, which recorded increases of 20.3% and 16.5%, respectively. These exceptions were largely concentrated in decentralized finance (DeFi), gaming, and infrastructure segments, highlighting the selective nature of market success.
