Hermes Agent Bot Mode Beta Launches to Compete with Grok

Nous Research initiates public beta for Hermes Agent Bot Mode, reorganizing multi-agent profiles into intuitive bots with dedicated inboxes and task scheduling.

Woofun AI reports that Nous Research has commenced public beta testing for the Bot Mode feature within Hermes Agent. Currently distributed as a standalone plugin, the feature is slated for integration into the Hermes Desktop application following user feedback collection. The update repackages existing multi-agent infrastructure, where independent Profiles function as distinct Bots equipped with unique names, avatars, models, skills, memory, and chat histories. Users can assign tasks by @mentioning specific Bots, which communicate via dedicated inboxes and support individual scheduled tasks. Hermes co-founder Teknium confirmed that this release addresses feature gaps relative to the recently launched Grok Bot.
