Woofun AI reports that He Tao, lead developer of MiniMax Code, announced an upcoming terminal version of the product. The test interface demonstrates a complete Coding Agent capable of understanding tasks, reasoning, and executing operations within the terminal. MiniMax Code is not a new product; the desktop app was renamed at the end of May this year, following the June release of M3, which was positioned as an Agent product designed to work with the company's models. Developers state the underlying framework is based on OpenCode and Pi.
