CXMT Plans Small-Scale LPDDR6 Production by Year-End

ChangXin Memory Technologies targets late-year small-scale LPDDR6 output, aiming for mass production post-testing to support next-gen mobile AI and efficiency.

Woofun AI reports that ChangXin Memory Technologies intends to initiate small-scale manufacturing of LPDDR6 chips by the end of this year. Following successful prototype validation, the firm will transition to mass production phases. LPDDR6 serves as the successor low-power memory standard for smartphones and laptops, delivering enhanced data transfer rates and energy efficiency while enabling on-device AI workloads.
