Woofun AI data shows that global listed companies, excluding mining firms, acquired $1.16 billion in Bitcoin during the previous week, marking a 7,186.43% increase from the prior period. Strategy executed sales of 1,638 BTC at $63,957 each on August 3 to generate approximately $105 million, reducing its reserve to 842,138 BTC and utilizing funds to repurchase 912,143 shares of STRC preferred stock for $81.2 million.
Five additional firms increased their positions: Strive purchased 20 BTC for $1.26 million; OrangeBTC acquired 30 BTC for $1.9933 million; The Smarter Web Company bought 11.89 BTC for $750,000; Capital B added 1 BTC for $64,601.90; and Bitmine confirmed acquiring 1 BTC, bringing its total to 208. Metaplanet made no purchases. Total corporate holdings stand at 1,138,643 BTC, valued at $71.42 billion.
