China-Led Blockchain BaaS Standard Approved by ISO for Development
ISO approves China-led Blockchain as a Service standard. Germany, UK, Japan, and others join development. Covers infrastructure, smart contracts, and data security.
Woofun AI reports that the International Organization for Standardization has approved the development of a blockchain international standard led by China, titled "Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies — Technical Framework and Functional Requirements for Blockchain as a Service." Representatives from Germany, the UK, Ireland, Japan, Portugal, and Uganda will participate in the drafting process.
The standard defines technical requirements across three domains: infrastructure and network operations, service management and smart contract lifecycle processes, and data interaction including privacy and security compliance. It aims to provide a reference for global BaaS platform development, assist enterprise decision-making, and address challenges such as cross-platform migration difficulties and high inter-system integration costs.
