US Chip and Storage Stocks Plunge, SanDisk Falls 8.77% and Corning Drops 8.17%
Broad selloff hits US semiconductors, storage, and optical comms. SanDisk drops 8.77%, Corning 8.17%. Arm, Marvell, and Micron also decline significantly.
Woofun AI data shows a widespread decline in US semiconductor equities on July 16th. Arm decreased by 6.40%, Marvell Technology fell 6.20%, and Micron Technology dropped 5.12%. Qualcomm declined 4.40%, Intel fell 4.21%, AMD dropped 3.91%, Broadcom fell 3.79%, and Nvidia decreased 2.24%.
Storage and optical communication sectors also suffered losses. SanDisk fell 8.77%, Seagate Technology dropped 7.70%, Western Digital declined 7.51%, and SK Hynix fell 7.46%. In optical communications, Corning dropped 8.17%, Astera Labs fell 6.57%, Applied Optoelectronics declined 6.44%, Nokia fell 6.00%, Credo dropped 5.63%, and Coherent fell 5.57%.
